Laura MacDonald Robinson, 83

Troy – Laura MacDonald Robinson, 83, formerly of Grafton died October 30, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Berlin, NY, she was daughter of the late Iver Snyder and Eva (Hull) Snyder and wife of the late Donald MacDonald and Irving Robinson. She resided in Grafton for many years, after her marriage to Irving Robinson resided in East Greenbush for 14 years and subsequently to ROUSE Apartments in Brunswick.

She was a clerk for Nationwide Insurance many years ago.

Active in the community while in Grafton, she was a founding member of the Grafton Rescue Squad, a long time member of Grafton United Methodist Church and was a 4-H leader.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy (John) Wells of , SC; two sons, Stephen R. (Lynda) MacDonald of Petersburgh and Barry (Carol) MacDonald of Grafton; six grandchildren, Brian and Chad Wells, Jason and Mark MacDonald and Kevin and Michael MacDonald and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas H. MacDonald.
