Laura M. Clark, age 93 of Midland died Monday, August 15, 2016, at MidMichigan Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Wiley and Mary (Alligator) Pickens was born September 19, 1922, in Midland where she was raised and educated. Laura married John V. Clark on December 19, 1939, in Midland. After 53 years of marriage, John predeceased his wife on March 20, 1993.
Laura had a heart of gold, and was a hard-working loving mother; To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her son Victor “Blain” Clark; daughters Wanetta Skutt, and Nola (Michael) Griffin; -7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Milton Pickens; sisters Emma Watkins and Elsie Dubay.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Ronald Clark.
