Laura L. (Van Mall) Repsel, 105, of Peru, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Heritage Health, Peru.
Mrs. Repsel was born October 19, 1911, in Jonesville to Victor and Marie Van Mall. She married Anton J. Repsel on December 15, 1935 at St. Roch’s Church, LaSalle. He passed away July 14, 1961. She worked at Westclox until retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Peru, past president of the Altar and Rosary Society and sang in the church’s choir.
She is survived by her children, Richard “Dick” (Betty) Repsel of LaSalle, William (Marla) Repsel of LaSalle, Shirley (Jerry) Uranich of Mendota; 3 grandchildren, Bill, Kevin and Mike Repsel and 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden and Gavin Repsel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Robert in infancy; 3 sisters and a grandson, David Repsel.
Pallbearers will be Kevin, Mike, Aiden and Crystal Repsel.
