Laura Kay Praesel Leonard, 42, of Austin passed away unexpectedly March 31, 2010. Laura was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. Laura graduated from Mary Carroll High school in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1985 and the University of Texas in Austin in 1993 She is survived by her adoring husband of just three weeks, Byron (Bert) Leonard; mother, Gwen Praesel; father, Carl Praesel Jr.; brothers, Glynn and Todd; adopted sister, Staci Hunt; grandmother, Marietta Kingston cousin and best friend, Nicole Kingston; numerous relatives and friends, all of whom loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
