Laura Jean Berg, 74, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Born, Laura Jean Knudsen in Brooklyn, NY on October 19, 1942, the second of three children born to Agnes and Alfred who preceded her in death as did her sister, Lois, and brother, Warren.
Laura was a graduate of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her RN degree in 1963, the same year that she married her teenage sweetheart, Ken, on August 24th. She was a devout Christian, having given her life to the Lord in her teenage years; a loving wife, mother, foster mother, and grandmother.
Laura is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Ken; four children; Cheryl, husband Mark; Nancy, husband Evan; Karen, husband, Norman; Andrew, wife Katie; eleven grandchildren; Jared, Cailee, Noelle, Kyle, Logan, Luke, Leighton, Connor, Clara, Molly and Grayson.
