Laura Holguin, Formerly of Las Cruces, peacefully entered the gates of heaven on January 15, 2014 in Las Cruces surrounded by her family.
She was born in Santa Rita to Dolores and Aurora Carbajal Heredia. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her. She was a member of the D.A.V. and the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her son Ronald Hernandez and Lee Hernandez both of Boston Mass., Rudy Holguin from Salt Lake City, Utah, Robert Holguin from Albuquerque NM and Martha Holguin from Las Cruces NM. She loved and cherished her special granddaughter GioVanni Holguin from Las Cruces NM.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters- Ramona Parra and Luis Parra from Deming, NM, Marion Gonzalez of Las Cruces, NM, Rita and Mario Sosaya of Seattle WA, Josie Heredia from CA.,Peggy and Lencho Lucero of Silver City, NM, Lucy and Johnny Sosaya of Santa Clara, NM, Johnny and Carol Heredia of Hurley, NM and Rosie Delfin of Santa Clara, NM, Lencho Heredia and his companion Ruth of Las Cruces, NM, Dolores and Sharon Heredia of Burke, NY, and Martin Heredia of Lucerne, CA. She is also survived by a special sister in law Sally Valles of Santa Clara, NM and niece Bonnie Manzanares of CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dolores and Aurora Heredia and her son Gilbert Dean Holguin.
