Precious Memories Laura Freness Howard As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully. She made things precious by her touch; her selfless loves lives on in each of us. The petals of her life fell one by one; each a gift of her heart till there were none. Yet her radiance blooms once again in fields of glory with no end. Laura Freness Howard began her journey when she blessed her parents, R.H. Horton and Anna Francis Horton with her birth on January 17, 1958, in Denver, Colorado. She was the only child born to this union. As a child, she enjoyed playing with her friends in the neighborhood and spending quality time with her family. She and her cousins, Beverly and Freda shared many happy and memorable moments together at Lakeside Amusement Park. Laura received her early education in Denver where she attended East High School. She united in holy matrimony to Albert Lee Howse. They first met in the historic five points area in Denver when they both where in their youth. To this union one son, Albert Larnell Howard was born. She later met Ronnie R. Anthony. They have been together for over 30 years. Ronnie remembers the two of them enjoying each other’s company and sharing as a family. Albert remembers his mother as loving and devoted. Later her grandchildren, Amoney, Albert, Jr., Curtis and Kayla were an additional source of joy and pride in her life.
