Laura “Elaine” Vitaniemi 68 of Clinton passed away on Jan 20, 2014 at 8:35pm in Union Hospital Terre Haute. She was born on Jan 19, 1946 in Marion County to Harold Rollins and Eleanor Kelley Rollins. She had been employed with the South Vermillion Corporation as a loyal and dedicated bus driver for 28 years.
She is survived by her husband James “Rusty” Vitaniemi of Clinton, a son Stacey K. Vitaniemi & Rebecca of Clinton, two daughters; Valerie Davis & Eric of Clinton and Laura Jo Hill & Jason of Mt. Carroll, IL. Six grandchildren; Shelby Vitaniemi, Tori Vitaniemi, Olivia Burton, Gwendolyn Davis, James “J.T.” Vitaniemi and Kylie Hill. One great granddaughter Kammi Foster. Two sisters; Janet Upp and Kathy Rollins and a brother Steve Rollins. Also, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Ruby Dee and cat Charlie.
