Laura A. (nee Rippe) Abdelghafar was 55 when she passed suddenly November 30th. Born in the Bronx, Laura lived most of her life in New Jersey before moving to Wilmington, North Carolina 4 years ago. She practiced as a Registered Nurse for the last 20 years in New Jersey and North Carolina. Laura was survived by her son Andrew Rippe and his wife Tara, mother Joan Rippe, sisters Diane Rippe and Joan Burke and their families and a brother Kenneth Rippe and his family. Laura leaves behind a very special person Richard Gilde Leon.
