Larue “Lue” M. Bradshaw, 86, of Arnolds Park passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Accura Healthcare Milford surrounded by family. Larue “Lue” Bradshaw was born March 30, 1935, to Merle and Edna (Meyer) Culbertson in rural Kossuth County. She attended and graduated from Ringsted High School in Ringsted, Iowa. After graduation she went on to Beauty School. Lue owned Lue’s Driftwood and worked in the bar business for over fifty years. Lue was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking for church functions. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and gambling. There wasn’t a casino that she visited that she didn’t love. Those left to place bets and deal a hand of cards for Lue are her children Ricky (Taylor) Genrich, and Wendy Schmitz, both of Arnolds Park; Grandchildren and great grandchildren Jamie (Charles), Jenni (Tyler), Nicholas, Maddox, Paxton, Aspen Lue, Jaxon, Pete, Fish, Peyton, Gracie, Liam, and Deegan; Her sisters Connie Monk, Sandy Welch, Sylvia Tabor; and brothers Danny and Garry Culbertson. Lue was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley Nelson and Kathleen Quastad; brothers Frances, Lyle, Gordan and Emery Culbertson.
