Larry enjoyed playing softball, racquetball. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts football, I.U. Basketball, and Pacers Basketball. Larry is an honored Marine Corps, Vietnam Veteran.
He was survived by his spouse, Janet (Petty) Landis; his children, Angie Landis of Florida, Kevin Landis of Florida, Mark Landis of Indiana; three sisters, Carol Hamilton of Indianapolis, Beverly McCaslin of Indianapolis, Karen Williams of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Kyle Landis, Annalise Landis, Elias Landis, and Liam Landis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Tom Mitchell.
