Mr. Larry W. Young, age 58, of Valley, AL passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Brenda Young; five children, Craig Young of Lineville, AL, Jennifer (James) Bowman of Oxford, AL, Amy Young of Lineville, AL, Christy (Travis Chambers) Belcher of Valley, and Thomas Peacock of Port Charlotte, FL; sixteen grandchildren, Lindsey, Camden, Brooklyn, Peanut, Devon, Ashlynn, Josh, Shelby, Justin, Tyler, Dylan, Ethan, Nicole, McKayla, Ashton, and Braden; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Conner; three brothers, Mike (Bonnie) Young of Lineville, AL, Bobby (Linda) Young of Lineville, AL, and Ricky (Glenda) Young of Ashland, AL; his sister, Lynn (Sheryl) Young of Athens, GA; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Young was born on January 22, 1957 in Clay County, AL to the late Myron and Helen Young. He was a member of The New Unity Church in Valley. He was an avid Auburn football and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed golf, playing the guitar, singing in a gospel band, and camping.
