Larry Thomas Kendall Sr., 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Larry was born on August 10, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Walter Thomas Kendall and Marie J. (Ridenour) Cathcart.
Larry married the love of his life, Peggy Ann Quakenbush in Celina, Tennessee on August 15th, 1965, they recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
Larry retired in 1982 from Western Electric, as a cable cutter.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed many activities, from going hunting, to fishing, camping, and horse racing. He was a talented musician with the ability to play the guitar and keyboards. He liked listening to country music and the blues. Most of all Larry loved spending time with his family and cherishing the moments they all shared together.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Ann Kendall, of Indianapolis, IN.; his children Patty (Ron) Brandt, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Christie Moore, of Fishers, IN., Larry (Melissa) Kendall Jr., of Martinsville, IN.; his sisters, Carol Sue Neeley, Paula Jordan, Rhonda (Willie) Jones, Donna K. Cathcart, Teresa (Greg) Yeadon, Charlotte (Bill) Todd; 6 grand children; 5 great grand-children; several nieces and nephews; many loved ones and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents.
