Larry Scott Christerson, 66, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 4:45 PM, Tuesday, August 9th, at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN. Larry was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 25, 1944, a son of the late Ethel (Helton) and Lee E. Christerson. He worked in maintenance at Monsanto (later Bayer) in Cincinnati, OH. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. On May 21, 1966 in Saylor Park, OH he married Barbara (Nixon) Christerson who survives him. Larry and Barbara spent 45 years together.
In addition to his wife Barbara, Larry is survived by;
a daughter, Paula Scudder, of Tennessee;
two sons Darrin (Rachael) Christerson, of Patriot, IN; Dwayne (Michelle) Christerson, of Florence, KY;
by 7 grandchildren; Tyler, Taylor & Tanner Scudder, Abreanna & Verlanda Brock, and
Nathaniel & Samantha Christerson.
a sister, Janice (Jim) Ohl, of Cincinnati, OH.
three brothers, Jerry (Margaret) Christerson, of Tennessee; Dave (Angie) Christerson, of Cincinnati, OH; Rick (Lynn) Christerson, of Columbus, OH;
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Gary Christerson.
