Larry P. Rice, age 78 of Eaton Township passed away Monday August 9, 2021 in Mercy Hospital in Lorain following a long illness. He was born March 16, 1943 in Webster Springs, West Virginia and was a 45 year resident of North Eaton. Larry was a retired pipe fitter from Ford Motor Company after 25 years. He was a proud US Army veteran, having served 4 years. He was also a member of the King Solomon Lodge #56 since 1979. Larry enjoyed hunting, boating, loved animals and watching The Price Is Right. He is survived by his wife Nellie F. ( Nee Gilles ) Rice, Son Thomas and Tammy ( Kubit ) Rice, son Daniel Rice, daughter Amanda ( John ) Walsh and daughter Catherine ( Brandon ) Siegfried. Survivors also include his grandchildren Amber ( Bryan ) Adkins, Jonathan, Ryan and Hailey Walsh, Paul, Samantha and Morgan Siegfried and by his great grandchildren Aaron, Kayla and Emma Adkins. He is also survived by his sisters Marsha ( Richard ) Johnson, Marilyn McKnight, Maureen Rice, brothers Richard ( Patty ) Rice, Gregory ( Lila ) Rice and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin & Thelma ( Hines ) Rice.
