Larry B. Nixon, 72, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born February 29, 1940, in Greenbrier, Arkansas to Loice and Minnie Nixon. Mr. Nixon retired as a machinist from Phelps Dodge Tyrone and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, of the family home, his son Jeff and daughter-in-law Lindsey, and his grandson Cadel of Lakewood, Colorado. Other survivors include his special families, the Wood, Thompson and Fanning families; his extended family in Arkansas; members of Calvary Baptist Church; and his special brother in Christ, Eldon Fowler.
