Larry was born in Gadsden, Alabama on December 04, 1949, to Hubert “Sonny” and Carolyn Ruby Swann. Larry was a man of many trades, mostly dedicated to being a Car Salesman.
He was a husband, a father, and a dedicated Papa. Larry was an avid Alabama fan, and one who enjoyed fishing; maintaining a manicured lawn; and spending time with his family. Larry was a man of undeniable strength and always enjoyed telling entertaining stories of days gone by.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert “Sonny” and Ruby Carolyn Swann; brother, Stan Swann; and sister, Tracy Langley.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria Swann; son, David (Rebecca) Swann; daughter, Heather (Ronald) Whaley; grandchildren, Madison Swann, Jackson Whaley, Myles Swann, and Blake Whaley; sister, Debbie Swann; brother, Todd Swann; and many family and friends.
