Dr. Larry M. Groves, 62, of McCordsville, passed away September 1, 2012 in Indianapolis. He was born November 10, 1949 in Cincinnati to the late Milton B. and Lola Fay (Freeman) Groves. Larry was the pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Greenfield for over 22 years.
He graduated from Norwood High School in Cincinnati, Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO and received his doctorate at Gulf Coast Bible Seminary in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He also served in the Ohio National Guard. Larry is survived by his wife Sandra (Barnes) Groves, whom he married on June 27, 1970 in Indianapolis; son Jon Groves of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter Jennifer Wilson of Fairland; nine grandchildren; and brother Jan W. Groves of Phoenix, AZ.
