Larry M. Broadfield, 73, of Washington passed away at 6:36pm, Friday, February 7, 2020, at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria.
He was born on April 12, 1946, in Peoria the son of Melvin and Juanita E Truelove Broadfield. He married Shirley J. Sill on August 8, 1972 in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter Shellie (Bud) Phipps of Delavan, two sons Brad Broadfield of Morton, IL and Brian (Laura Foley) Broadfield of Terre Haute, IN.
A U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. After his honorable discharge from the Army he worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 20 years. After his retirement from Caterpillar, he owned and operated Broadfield Trucking in Washington again retiring in 2004 due to health issues.
