Larry Lee Vaughn, 77, of Markleville, passed away after an extended illness on October 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson. He was born on June 10, 1942 in Anderson, Indiana.
Larry served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1996 from Delco Remy after 30 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his Sunshine of 30 years, Nancy (Rector) Vaughn; daughters, Julie Hiatt, Brenda (Laurie Lesch) Bucci; son, Todd Grissom, grandchildren, Ryan Baker, Alex (Savannah) Collins, Dillon (Hillary) Hiatt, Adam ( Kerrigan) Brosio and special friend, Cody (Heylee) Looper and their children, Minnie and Emory; beloved dog and best buddy, Biscuit; siblings, Garry “Pete” Vaughn, Vickie Vaughn, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Vera Vaughn; siblings, Jean Burton and Garnett Vaughn.
