Larry Lee Boyd, 70, Anderson, passed away July 30, 2010 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson. He was born March 14, 1940 in Fort Recovery, Ohio, and resided in Anderson most of his life.
Larry was a graduate of South Bend Central High School. He served his country in the US Navy.
Larry retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. He was a member of the VFW Post #266, Pendleton American Legion, Pendleton AmVets and the UAW Local #662.
He is survived by his sons, Tom Michelle Boyd of Fishers, Todd Boyd of Lafayette and Ron Boyd of Anderson; siblings, Jeff Boyd, Patty Boyd, Stan Boyd, Steve Boyd, James Boyd, Bob Portz, Rick Portz and Joe Portz; step-mother, Agnes Boyd; grandchildren, Loren Boyd, Katie Boyd, Olivia Boyd and Madeline Boyd; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Boyd; mother, Maxine Portz; and step-father, Charlie Portz.
