Larry L. Musser, 73, of Anderson, passed away on July 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born on June 24, 1940 in Lima, Ohio and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Larry graduated from Lima Senior High School. He retired from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service.
Larry was formerly a member of the Chesterfield Fire Department where he had served as fire chief and the Chesterfield Police Department. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.
Larry was a member of the Chesterfield American Legion Post 408.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Stephenson of Pendleton and Sheryl Tom Nichols of Anderson; step-daughter, Diana Harper of Cranston, Rhode Island; grandchildren, Daniel Stephenson of Lebanon, Tennessee, Cassie Stephenson of Celina, Ohio, Cody Stephenson of Pendleton; great-grandson, Chase Browder of Celina, Ohio, sisters, Liz Spees of North Carolina, and Arlene Priddy of Ohio; brother, Dick Musser of Ohio; good friend, Tim Bowers; and loving dog, “LBB” Charlotte. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Musser; parents, Harold and Ruth Musser; grandson, Thomas “Tommy” Musser; siblings, Roger Musser, Paul Musser, and Janet Musser Bartz.
