Larry Gauger  11-01-1940 – 01-29-2011

Outdoorsman, conservationist, NRA Life Member and Bill of Rights advocate, Larry was a hunter and reloader and had an extensive knowledge of fire arms.

To Mary, his wife of 31 years he was truly the wind beneath her wings – quiet, supportive and always there for her.  As opposite as could be, together they taught family and friends what a good marriage could be – not easy, not without crisis, but always together and united in love.  Larry and Mary raised five children (step children was not a part of their vocabulary).  He was proud of each of them and loved them all.  Lorne, Dean, Jeremy and wife Cecilia, Kirk and wife Jennifer, Amy and husband David.  His precious grandsons, Phoenix and Griffin are left with memories of Grandpa G – fishing and snow tubing in Idaho and going for ice cream in Arizona.  His sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Roger Neal of Gooding, with their children, Erin, Glen and Nancy.  Also other special niece and nephew, Debbie Parks and Matthew Fess.  Our best friends who loved him, Tori and Tony Castro.  Our labs who idolized him – Maddy and Mo!

Our gratitude and love to Air St. Luke’s, Boise St. Luke’s and staff and physicians of C.C.U. especially Aimee, RN and Dave RT who allowed him to die surrounded by love.  Our love also goes to the Staff of North Canyon Medical Center, especially Jay Blacksher P.A.C. and the E.R.
