Larry L. Cleveland, 75, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 23, 1939, in Nappanee to Raymond and Ellen Marie (Hamilton) Cleveland.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Cleveland of Elkhart; two sons, Bradley Cleveland of Everett, Wash., and Timothy Cleveland of Sturgis, Mich.; three daughters, Ann (Mark) Lunger, Teresa (Tim) D’Haese and Jennifer (Allen) Burch, all of Sturgis; two brothers, Max “Jim” (Nancy) Cleveland of LaGrange and Leland (Pauline) Cleveland of Orland; two sisters, Wilma Foreman of Constantine, Mich., and Joan Bennett of LaGrange; two stepbrothers, Jerry (Barbara) Burghduff of Rome City and Terry (Jean) Burghduff of Morley, Mich.; one stepsister, Linda (Gerald) Hochstetler of Warsaw; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Aldon Cleveland, one sister, Rheta Yoder, and one stepsister, Patricia Mikel.
Larry was a 2002 graduate of Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Okla. He was employed as a machine operator at Sturgis Carton for several years.
Larry was a member of New Creation Fellowship Church and has served as an usher there for many years. Previous to that, he served many years as an usher at Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis.
