Larry Joseph Yelinek-54 lost his battle with cancer on July 2, 2017. He was born November 9,1962 and was proud to say, “I was born in ‘Vegas Baby’”. During his high school years his father encouraged him to work with him in carpentry. Larry eventually became a journeyman carpenter in the union and worked in that trade for over 30 years. With his friendly nature, he never met a stranger. He had a tender heart for all living things and was active in Nevada’s TNR program for Feral Cats.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents; his father, Robert; and his, sister Wendy. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis & step-father, Philip Norton; his sisters, Toni Greer and Julie Calico; his uncle, Leonard Yelinek; aunts Mitzi Gramly and Mary Beth Little; his Dearest Love, Lucy Bergman; other aunts and uncles, Shelby & Jewell Frei, Victor & Gwen Frei and Dorothy & Dan Lightner; and many nieces, nephews & cousins
