Mr. Larry James Hudmon, age 74, of Huguley, Al., passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Al.
Mr. Hudmon is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anthony Hudmon; son, Mark Hudmon of Valley; grandson, Kyle (Brooke) Hudmon of Valley; a great granddaughter on the way; brother, Mike (Janet) Hudmon of LaGrange, Ga.; sister in law, Judy Hudmon of Lanett; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.L. and Helen Hudmon; two brothers, Randy Hudmon and Jerry Hudmon.
Mr. Hudmon was born on October 31, 1939 in Langdale, Al. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Hudmon had retired from the Chambers County Sheriffs Dept and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, camping, and guns. He had served as a former Scout Master of the Riverview Boyscouts.
