Larry was a loving and proud father. He was a roofer for over 50 years. He gave up roofing a few times to try his hand at other endeavors before realizing roofing was where he belonged. He took pride in roofing and from time to time he would drive by his old jobs, just to check on his roofs to see how they were enduring over the years. He worked hard to provide his family with a better life, so his children would have better opportunities that Larry had growing up.
Surviving to cherish his legacy, his son Joseph Holbrook and his wife Marla of Brownsburg, IN, his daughter, Barbara Bluedorn and her husband Todd of Dallas, Texas, four granddaughters, Cassandra, Amanda Jo, Jessica, and Emily, and a brother George Holbrook and his wife Verna of Summersville, Missouri.
