Larry Hatinen Sr., age 79 years, of Manomet, died suddenly, following a brief illness on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was the husband of the late Sheila A. (Perkins) Hatinen, and the son of the late Lauri E. and Dorothy (Byer) Hatinen. Larry was born on October 7, 1941 in Hartford, served in the 70th Rifle Company with the USMCR out of Hartford, CT. He and his family spent many summers vacationing in Manomet, before deciding to move to Plymouth in 1979. Larry was the owner of FBN Associates in Plymouth where he specialized in designing commercial heating systems. Larry enjoyed going to Manomet beach and watching the sun rise daily. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing cards and was a lover of animals, especially his dog Casey. Larry was always full of fun and certain to put a smile on your face. He will be forever missed by his son Larry Hatinen Jr. and his wife Heide Hatinen of Plymouth.Larry is survived by his grandchildren, Olyvia Adams, Paiyge Hatinen, Amanda Davis, Nicole Whitney, Heather Doshay, John, Jason, Jacob and Lauri Garner. Along with his great grandchildren, Lucas McDonnell, Jose Vasquez, Ashton Doshay and Arabella Sweeney, along with his brother Lynn Hatinen. He was also the father of the late Traci Gardner and Tami Davis.
