Larry Gene Jackson, 56, of Chambersburg, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. He was born Jan. 14, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Edward E. and Reva L. Hearold Jackson.
He is survived by his mother of Chambersburg; two sons and one daughter, Lance Jackson of Austin, TX, and Tom Gene Jackson and Shelly (Robert) Poe, both of Jefferson City, MO; four grandchildren, Hailey, Brailyn, Traidyn, and Charlotte; one sister, Rhonda (Charles) West of Austin, TX; and three brothers, Edward (Terry) Jackson, Jr. of St. Charles, MO, Randy Jackson of Versailles, and Rick Jackson of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Jackson attended Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, MO. He enjoyed playing softball and pool, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
