Mr. Ivey was born September 13, 1958, in Belton, the son of J D and Eula Faye (Pace) Ivey. He was a 1978 graduate of Holland and held an associates degree from Temple Junior College in Business Management. He worked for Griggs Equipment and Wal Mart.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two brothers J D Ivey Jr of Holland and Calvin Ivey of Lockhart; three sisters Susie Johnson of Academy, Betty Ryan of Belton and Judy Daniel of Belton; two half sisters Alice Russell of Belton and Esther Oljnic of Moody.
