Larry Fay McCowan of Mena, Arkansas passed from this life, Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Mena, Arkansas. Larry was born August 15, 1944 to Melvin Leroy McCowan and Ruby Lois (Allen) McCowan in Porterville, California.
Larry was a down to earth guy. He was a straight shooter, he called it like he saw it and didn’t beat around the bush. Larry knew animals. He loved studying them.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his long time loving companion and wife Mary. Larry will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including a host of extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruby McCowan, one son and several siblings.
