Mr. Larry Embry was born on August 10, 1950, to the union of J.D. and Vervice Embry in Sylacauga, Alabama. He graduated from B.B. Comer High School in 1969.
He worked as a truck driver for Avondale Mills, Floyd & Beasley and Parker Fertilizer. Larry departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother J.C. Embry.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his two sons, Jermaine Morris of Sylacauga, Alabama and Brian Embry (Jennifer) of Alpharetta, Georgia; his daughter, Bethaney Embry Jones (Greg) of Douglasville, Georgia; granddaughters Saniya Embry and Brynli Mitchell; grandson Draedyn Embry; brothers Grover Embry (Pearline), Jimmie Embry (Elizabeth) of Detroit, MI, Terry Embry (Wavie), Terry Looney (Debbie), Thomas Looney; sisters Delois Coleman (Percy) and Glory Swain (Kenny). Several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and close friends.
