DURHAM Mr. Larry Edwin Earp, 70, of Durham, died on Monday, April 9, 2018. Mr. Earp was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Edwin Avril Earp and Doris Benson Earp. He retired from Duke University Medical Center after 32 years. He attended West Durham Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Papa). He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Edwin Earp and sister, Norma Jean Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sherry Meredith Earp; daughter, Tracy Earp Williams of Durham; sisters, Susan Earp Cooper of Bynum, N.C. and Edwina Etta Earp of Roxboro; grandchildren, Kristina Rose Williams, Elizabeth LeAnn Williams and Hunter Edward Williams.m. Rev. Greg Long and Dewayne Turnage will officiate.
