Larry Earle “Crow” Cullison
Larry Earle “Crow” Cullison, 65, of Kingwood, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Thursday October 29, 2015.
Born outside of Frederick, MD, on June 16, 1950, he moved to the mountains of Preston County in 1972.
Larry was the President of Cullison Communications Inc, which he established in 1991 after retiring from AT&T in 1990. He began his telephone career in the 1970’s working for C&P telephone and Bell Atlantic before moving up the ranks to AT&T.
Larry played an array of musical instruments, his favorite by far was picking the bass with the Atomic Salamies. He loved riding his Victory motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grand daughters.
Larry is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Stanford of Landing, NJ and Amy Cullison of Morgantown; two granddaughters, Meghan Stanford and Emma Hall; two sisters, Sandy Dutterer and husband, Doug of Mt. Airy, MD and Connie Shipley and husband, Ronnie of Grantsville, MD and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a girlfriend/caregiver, Jane Gandy of Harrisonburg, VA.
Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Virginia Lee “Mickey” Cullison; an infant son and his father and mother, Sterling and Frances Yingling Cullison.
