Larry E. Hale, 84, of South Bend, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at South Bend Memorial Hospital to join his loving wife of 64 wonderful years of marriage, Audrey M. (Janowiak) Hale, who passed away on April 14, 2018. He was born on January 9, 1935 in Alto Pass, IL to the late William and Pauline (Carter) Hale.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Hale and Mark (Beth) Hale; grandchildren, Nicole (Andy) Bailey, Rebecca (Eric) Campbell, Scott (Stacey Oltman) Hale, Jim Ryder, and Eric Ryder; great grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Mehgen Hale, Bryce Hale, Mason Campbell, Mattie Campbell, Dylan Ryder, Eric Ryder Jr., and Alyssa Ryder; and sister, Rosalie Anderson. He was preceded by his brother, Ronald Hale and daughter, Lori Pritchard.
Larry was a hard worker and worked as a subcontractor for many years. He was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading the Bible. Larry attended New Life Christian Center in Bristol, where he served as a Deacon and loved ministering at local nursing homes. Most of all, he adored his family, especially his grandchildren. Larry will be missed greatly by his loving family.
