Larry Dean Chedsey, 72, passed away May 3rd, 2022, at his home in Colorado Springs. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Chedsey, and four daughters, Kimberlee Chedsey, Kelly Jo Pardue, Jennifer Neargardner, and Jessy Augustine. His four grandchildren are Barbara Willoughby, Tyler Burroughs, Andrew Pardue, and Lili Neargardner. He is also survived by his brother Ron Robinette.

Larry was born in Denver, Colorado in 1950 to Harlan Chedsey and Rosemary Belle Robinette.

Larry graduated high school and immediately entered drafting school to become a draftsman. In 1971 he was drafted into the Army, where he served until 1973.

Larry’s remarkable career reflected his incredible work ethic as it spanned decades ranging from a draftsman creating blueprints to working as an engineer employed with the Department of Defense.

He loved the look, feel, and power of a Harley Davison motorcycle. Tinkering in the garage on anything mechanical was Larry’s source of peace. If it was football season, Larry was connecting with the Denver Broncos as a diehard fan from the era of Red Miller until the present.

Larry had a great love for the outdoors, both hunting and fishing. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends around the campfire.

Larry loved his family and was a gentle soul that adored his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
