Larry D. Huffman, 63, Markleville, died July 24, 2002 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson, Indiana after a brief illness. He was born January 12, 1939 in Madison County, Indiana, and resided in Markleville. He was a lifetime resident of this area. He was retired from E & B Paving in Anderson and was presently working as a foreman for the Madison County Highway Department. He attended Madison Heights High School, where he was a basketball player.
He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Debbie Beeman Huffman; four step-children Mike Cage of Anderson, Monica Cage of Anderson, Linda Hawkinson of Pennsylvania and Mark Boger of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren Jordan Cage, Kaylen Cage, Michelle Carey, Wendi Weaver, Megan Boger, Jimmie Smith, Jacob Smith, Matthew Carey and one grandson on the way; mother & Father-in-law, Dean & Madonna Beeman; mother-in-law, Merrilyn Donovan; brothers & sisters-in-law Dan & Anita Walker, Deanna & Bob Bassett, Beth & Ted Hiatt, Karen Thompson, Donna & Tracey Price, Tammy Wright, Moses Beeman II and Kelly & Andy Conover; very special friends Frank & Doris Elliott and Brad & Robin Noble; special friends Jimmie Smith and Michael Carmack; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his in death by his first wife Marion Carol Huffman and his parents Lester & Mary Ellen Huffman.
