Larry Clarence Stoffer, age 74, of Homeworth, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1942 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late C. Robert (Bob) and Isabelle (Mercer) Stoffer.

Larry was a 1961 graduate of West Branch High School. He served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He worked at the Quaker Manufacturing in Salem for 19 years as a Machine Operator. He was a lifelong farmer, raising pigs, dairy and beef cattle. He also took great pride in raising and selling Belgian Horses, of which he showed at many fairs. Including the Canfield Fair for 45 years. He was a member of the North Georgetown Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and the Belgian Draft Horse Ass.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy L. (Will) Stoffer, whom he married November 8, 1975; two sons, Robert and Steven (Nicole) Stoffer of Homeworth; a daughter, Denise Stoffer of Homeworth; three sisters, Carol Pavalko of Homeworth, Kay (Richard) Miller and Debra Hartzell of Salem; one brother, Ray (Nancy) Stoffer of Salem; three granddaughters, Cierra, Kylei, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one niece, Jennifer Baker.
