Lawrence “Larry” LeRoy Krake Carroll, Jr., age 57, died December 12, 2014 in Brighton, Colorado at home. He was born May 20, 1957 in Denver, Colorado the third child of Lawrence L. K. Carroll, Sr. and Esther Dorothy Schaefer. He moved to Brighton when he was three years old. He attended school at the Brighton Adventist School, and attended high school at Campion Academy near Loveland. He graduated in 1975. He took art lessons and was teaching other students when he was a senior. His oil paintings were beautiful. He worked construction during high school during the summers and went on to start several of his own businesses.
He started Renovations Unlimited in 1976 and later The Carroll Group doing consulting work. He had also started a management company as well as purchasing properties with partners.
He served on the Board of Appeals for the City of Brighton for over 20 years, he was a past member of the Kiwanis Club and the Lions Club serving as president.
