Larry W. Allen, 75, of Bargersville, Indiana, passed away April 16, 2019 at St. Francis Hospice House, Indianapolis, Indiana. Larry was born October 16, 1943, to Jim Marion and Phebo Allen (both deceased). He married Judy Welch Shaw on December 4, 2015 in Franklin, Indiana, she survives. He attended Decatur Township School System in Indianapolis, Indiana. He spent 25 years of service, working in the Security Division for Eli Lilly and Company, retiring on August 31, 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Allen, Bargersville, Indiana. He is survived by his daughters, Laura Allen and Missy Allen, brothers, Ray Allen of Brazil, Indiana and Howard Allen (Judy) Of Bargersville, Indiana, and a sister Carol Cockrell (Neil) of Greenwood, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by both parents, an older brother, James Ben Allen, and a grandson, Landon Pevlar. Other survivors include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren., along with step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all for which he loved. Larry enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Citizens Center in Bargersville, Indiana and loved fishing and was an old car enthusiast, owning numerous antique cars during his retirement.
