Larry Arthur Lytle, 82, of Wataga, IL, died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.

Larry was born September 6, 1939 at home in Wataga, IL to Verril and Alta (Adcock) Lytle.  He married Sandra Foutch Olson on November 16, 1973 at the Congregational Church in Wataga, IL.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughters, Gretchan (Larry) Osborne of Wataga and Tonya (Roger Lasley) Lytle of Galesburg; three grandchildren, Cody (Alex Frick) Osborne Pevley of MO, Cassandra (Cornell Clay) Osborne of Galesburg and Alecsandra (Robert Thompson) Lasley of Galesburg; four great grandchildren, Dominic Lasley, Ryker Thompson, C.J. Clay, and one on the way, Babygirl Clay; and two sisters Ruth Pierce of Wataga and Carol Sargeant of Avon, IL .  He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers William, Robert, Richard, and Charles; his sister, Barbara Eiker; and a great grandson Xavier Lasley Thompson.

Larry worked for Sandy’s Drive-In, OT Johnson, Burger King, Galesburg Terrace, Farm King, and retired from ROWVA School District in 2001.  He also worked for several farms around Wataga. Larry was past member of Little John Conservation Club, Wataga Lions Club, and Rio Masonic Lodge; and was volunteer Fireman for many years. He loved mowing, baking and spending time with his great grandkids.
