LaRoy Gene Peterson, 82, of Boise (formerly of Helena, Montana) passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010. Roy was born May 14, 1927, in Butte, Montana, to Eitha and Clarence Peterson.
He enlisted in the Navy at 18.
When all the trials and tribulations were over, he felt blessed in seeing his children grown and pursuing their interests, hoping he had helped them develop very sincere values. He also wanted his grandchildren to be hard working, honest, morally straight, and living life to the fullest.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, on the eve of their move to Boise; his parents; his older brother, Walter; in-laws Grace & Eldred (Bub) Lythgoe ; and one grandchild, Daniel Williams.
