Laqueta Joe Anne Hutchison Overshiner, 78, Anderson, passed away June 3, 2012 at Community Hospital, Anderson. She was born August 26, 1933 in Sullivan County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson since 1965.
Laqueta was a homemaker and enjoyed making crafts. She is survived by her daughter, Raven Huffman of Anderson; son, Lance Wilgus of Linton; step-children, Vanessa Terry Waldrep of Alexandria and William Overshiner of Anderson; several grandchildren including, Michelle Fields, Kimberly Huffman & husband, James Peterson; several great grandchildren including, Coti Fields Robert Gray, Erin Fields, Jacob Fields, Leslie Huffman, Roman Harness and Jada Peterson; two great great grandchildren, Savannah Fields, and Trinity Jo Gray; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Dorothy Gray.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everitt & Cora Belle Cobb Hutchison; three brothers and four sisters; husband whom she married March 26, 1969, William Donald Overshiner who passed away January 21, 2009; and special friends, Joyce and Russel Nichols.
