Lanny Ray James 65 of Mint Hill, NC went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 9th, 2022. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Jacqui James, whom he was married to for 21 years, his 6 children and their families; Perry Steed 46 and his wife Liz Steed of Castle Hayne, NC; Jessica James 33 of Concord, NC; Andrea James 31 of Fort Mill, SC; Justin James 29 of Bonaire GA; Amanda Neipert 38 of Manhattan, KS and Mony Smith 28 of Concord, NC. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, and his younger brother Randy James of Kannapolis, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Sarah James of Mint Hill, NC and his older brother Rod James of Charlotte, NC.
