Lanier Pruitt, 58, of Dawsonville, GA went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2013. Born in Atlanta, GA he was the son of the late Talmadge and Addie Lee Pruitt. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Pruitt; sisters, Rita and Barbara Pruitt; and granddaughter, Brittany Lauren Pruitt. Lanier attended Milton High School and worked in the grocery business — Forsyth County Board of Education in the Transportation Department where he became the special needs supervisor and was in fleet maintenance for the last 13 years.
