..A native of Picayune, MS, she was a majorette for the Pride of Tide during her high school years at Picayune Memorial High School, graduating in 1958, and she was Ms Pearl River County in 1961. Lana was a retired English teacher from Picayune Memorial High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Lana will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by her parents, Durward Lee Berry and Bess Sprouse Berry; and her loving and devoted husband, Charles K. “Dewey” to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted daughters, Lisa Suarez and Holly (Al) Wise; her grandsons, Logan Michael Wise and Carter Lee Wise; her sister, Donna (Sam) Munch; and her nephews, Alan, Jeremy, and Dustin Spiers.
