Janice Lee Lalich, age 59, of Norwalk, died Thursday night at the Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of David M. Lalich for 38 years. Janice was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 25, 1951, the daughter of Jeanne Gibbons Worrall Gregg of Mount Lebanon, PA and the late William Worrall, and has lived in Norwalk since 1981. Janice was a graduate of Rollins College, Class of 1973 and has been working as the weekend receptionist at the Stamford Hospital, was a member of the Stamford Hospital “HAHA’s” (Health and Humor Associates), doing her best to bring cheer and comfort to her patients and their families. She was also an Integrative Medicine Practitioner and Hospice Caregive for Greenwich Hospice; previously volunteered at the Norwalk Women’s Crisis Center; and a Level 3 Healing Touch Therapist. Janice was friends with everyone she met. She was always reaching out to family, friends and her patients and was a tireless caregiver. She was an avid reader and a familiar face at the Westport Library. Janice loved watching Jeopardy and working on the New York Times Crossword Puzzle, actually competing in Will Shortz’s annual crossword puzzle competition. She also loved to travel, especially to Paris, France, and was the Queen of Fairhill Manor.

In addition to her husband and mother, Janice is survived by her loving daughter Anjalee Lalich and her fiance Josh Perrin of Denver, CO and son Janson Lalich and his wife Meghann of Orlando, FL; her brothers Jim, John, Bob, Sean and Gary Gregg, her sister Pam Gregg, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and pets Mitzi, Alfie and Sophie.
