Lakondrel Remon (Congie) Mason was born June 13, 1978 in Decatur, AL to Evone Mason Emerson, Decatur, AL and Curtis E Sirmones, Huntsville, AL
He confessed his life in Christ at an early age and became a member of Gibson Chapel Methodist Church under the Reverend Willie Walter.
Congie attended Moulton Elementary School in Moulton and later transferred to Austin High School. He was a 1996 graduate of Austin High School. Congie was an outstanding member of the Austin Black Bears football, weight and track team.
He enlisted after graduation in the U.S. Navy. He served his country for several years, serving foreign and domestic. He was honorable discharged with medical retirement.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Ms. Sarah Mae Mason Fletcher, great-grandmother, Mrs. Tillie Mae Bibb Mason, great-grandfather, Mr. John Wesley Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and dedicated wife, Kasey Michelle Mason of Gilbert, AZ; two beautiful sons, Julian St. John Mason, Tampa, FL. Cydney Savon Mason, Decatur, AL; three step-sons, Jaden Kile Kreiner, Miles Kreiner and Tate Brown, all of Gilbert, AZ; a loving and caring mother, Mrs. Evone Mason Emerson and stepfather Mikel T Emerson, Decatur, AL; his father, Curtis E Sirmones, Huntsville, AL; half-brother, Curtis Sirmones Jr., TN; one niece, Sabria Bailey Faith Sirmones, TN; one nephew Curtis Sirmones II, TN; one great aunt, Johnnie Roper, Huntsville; three great uncles, Billy Joe Mason (Barbara), Decatur, AL, John Mason Jr., Falkville, AL, Leroy Mason (Lisa) Moulton, AL; his mother and father-in-law, Billy and Ne-Ne Bluebird, Locust Grove, OK; his grandparents by marriage, Robert and Nana Sue Rogers, Gilbert, AZ and a devoted father figure Mr. AJ Jones, Moulton, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
