Lagene also enjoyed cooking and serving for Girls Camp for about ten years. In her youth, she enjoyed playing tennis and riding bikes. A close family member expresses when thinks of Lagene, she thinks of the Beatitudes in the New Testament, from Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. “Blessed are the Peacemakers”….”Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” Lagene was treasured and admired by many and touched many lives in her time on this earth.

She endured many challenges, and through them all, always kept a warm welcoming smile and endured to the end as a faithful member of the Church, and loved everyone. She believed that families can be eternal. Alma 7:23-25 summarizes in her belief in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that we will return to them.
