LaDonna M. McGarvey, 52, of Jacksonville, died Tues. Nov. 15, 2011 at Passavant Area Hospital.
She was born Feb. 4, 1959 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Norman L. Wilkinson and Sandra Maddox Dawdy.
She is survived by her mother, Sandra (Jim) Dawdy of Murrayville; stepmother, Joyce Wilkinson of Jacksonville; step grandmother, Frances Dawdy of White Hall; son, Shaun Wilkinson (Lindy) of Springfield; grandchildren, Brendan and Sydney Wilkinson of Springfield; brothers, Jeff (Nancy) Wilkinson of Jacksonville and Kevin (B.J.) Wilkinson of New Berlin; stepbrothers, Chad Dawdy of Jacksonville, Tommy Dawson of GA and Randy Dawson of Jacksonville; stepsister, Kelly Collins of Jacksonville; caregiver, Scott Shamblin of Jacksonville, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
LaDonna enjoyed stock car racing, country music, fishing, and all animals, especially her “critters.”
